Also available in 16" x 12" Signed and numbered Edition of 100 $350.00 The little fox kit that this young Native girl snuggles so tightly to her joyful countenance was bottle fed from a very early age by a friend of mine from the Swan Mountains who rescues and rehabilitates wild animals that had been injured or abandoned and then returns them to their native habitat. The painting represents the pure and open hearts of young, innocent spirits in the human and animal species and the potential for harmony, love and appreciation in our co-existence with all of creation. My model from the Flathead Reservation is wearing an old authentic beaded Salish buckskin dress handed down to her from her great grandmother.
